Here are the two improvisations that make up my ambient piece, presented as they were first recorded without any editing.

 

The left recording presents an ideal past which has been embellished by the mind over time, leading you to perceive it as more beautiful than it may actually have been.

The right recording is more somber in tone, conveying the longing for a future which you feel drawn to and even miss, despite not yet knowing what it may hold.
